My passion for computers extends to building/repairing desktops. Either troublehsooting and fixing issues or improving the performance of a machine.
During my time fixing/repairing computers and other devices, I've gathered a good knowledge and skill for soldering. With experience repairing and assembling components that require a solder joint.
A major skill I have developed in my life is troubleshooting problems. Being able to narrow down what is causing the issue in a system.
During my studies as an intelligent systems engineer, I have had the opportunity to get comfortable with different CAD software including Fusion360, EAGLE, KiCAD, and FreeCAD. In these images, a design for a Raspberry Pi to house a gimbal with a camera on the top. The design focused on ease of maintenance for testing purposes and port holes for the camera and display ribbon cables.
This project utilized the gimbal and Raspberry Pi to find and recognize human faces using an opensource facial recognition algorithm. My partner and I hosted the controls on a webpage to allow colleges to take control and try out the system on their own.
